Prayer In order to deepen one’s love for Christ, Catholics are urged to read and pray over sacred Scriptures; to study the Catechism of the Catholic Church; to participate in the devotions offered by the parish (such as the Stations of the Cross on Fridays); and to pray more fervently, individually, as families and in common with others. Lent is also a privileged time for celebrating the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation. The faithful are urged to attend Mass on weekdays as often as possible.
For centuries Catholics have participated in the Passion of Christ by recalling particular episodes (Stations) from his journey to the Cross. We invite you to join us every Friday during Lent as we draw closer to Christ and share in his journey to Calvary.
When: During Lent, Stations of the Cross will be celebrated on Fridays from 6:00-6:30 pm
Where: The Shrine Church of The Most Precious Blood – 113 Baxter Street
