Parents are the most important teachers of what is good; both the Church and secular world agree on this. As a teacher of what is good and true, you do not have to be an expert - you just need to be ready with a heart open and ready to join your children in their journey of faith.
Our Family Religious Education Program addresses your growth as your children progress in learning the sacraments. We emphasize the parental role by coaching you in how to inspire your children to a personal relationship with Jesus
beginning with the basic Catholic prayers, and also speaking to Him from the heart.
The family sessions we offer are below:
- Good Shepherd: For children ages 3-5. A hands on organic approach to learning the faith.Our program runs on Monday afternoon’s after school from mid-September until early June.
- First Communion and Confirmation
In addition to our edcational sessions we offer children the opportunity to participate in a choir.
Basilica Voices: Let your children learn how to sing (both liturgical and secular music under the guidance of trained professionals. 1st graders and above are invited to join us once a week after school.
