During this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy we have decided to enact the 90 Days of Grace for the Lent and Easter Seasons. This is a way for you to get involved, grow and show mercy. We are offering many different spiritual and corporal acts during this 90 days.
In The Name of God is Mercy, Pope Francis answers all the questions that were posed. Throughout the book, the Pope’s message is “The message of Jesus is mercy.” His Holiness writes:
“I hope that the Jubilee will serve to reveal the Church’s deeply maternal and merciful side, a Church that goes forth to those who are “wounded,” who are in need of an attentive ear, understanding, forgiveness, and love.” (page 53)
So during these 90 days we are inviting you to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, cloth the naked, shelter the stranger, visit the sick and the imprisoned, and bury the dead as well as counsel the doubtful, instruct the ignorant, admonish the sinner, comfort the afflicted, forgive offenses, bear wrongs patiently and praying for the living and the dead. As well as experience the joys of his mercy through prayer, rosary, Mass and social gatherings.
